Marks & Spencer customers have expressed their excitement after the supermarket shared details of a new additions to it’s extensive range of wines.

With the Bank Holiday weekend just around the corner, M&S took to Instagram to showcase bottles of ots “hip hip rosé” wine that can be found now on the shelves of it’s Foodhalls. “It wouldn’t be summer without a crisp glass of rosé in hand, and we’ve got two new bottles you won’t want to miss,” they declared in a post.

The first is a Portuguese 2025 rosé produced especially for M&S. “The Lisboa Bonita Rosé enjoys aromas of ripe red and black fruits with vanilla notes and is produced by a family-owned Portuguese winery with vineyards planted at altitude to benefit from excellent sun exposure and Atlantic Ocean climates,” Marks & Spencer enthused.

Second is a French rosé, again a 2025. “While the organic and vegan Trouble cloudy rosé is a little taste of French summer, packed with strawberry and raspberry flavour and a gentle citrus lift,” M&S continued. “Plus, as it’s unfiltered and unfined, it’s left naturally cloudy, giving it a beautifully soft texture.”

Additionally, the supermarket recommends enjoying both alongside seafood, grilled chicken salads, dessert and “all your favourite picky bits”. They closed by asking customers: “Which are you filling your fridge with this summer?”

Both wines are available via Ocado too, meanwhile. Writing in response, one Instagram user who has already sampled one of the wines, exclaimed: “Had the cloudy rosé on Saturday in the garden, it was amazing, new favourite.”

A second person commented: “Ooh can’t wait to try.” A third wrote: “These look interesting!” While a fourth individual said: “Ooh I’m due a trip to M&S Foodhall.”

M&S adds further detail about the two wines on it’s website, meanwhile. “Lisboa Bonita rosé is a bright, fruit-forward Portuguese wine with crisp red berry notes and a hint of watermelon,” it states. “Light-bodied and refreshing, it finishes clean with gentle acidity, making it an easy-drink alongside seafood and salads.”

And the product description of the Trouble cloudy rosé is as follows: “A fresh and fruity still rosé with soft strawberry and raspberry flavours, a gentle citrus lift and a clean, dry finish. Made from hand‑harvested grapes that are gently pressed at cool temperatures, the wine is fermented slowly to keep the flavours bright and fresh.

“Unfiltered and unfined, it’s left naturally cloudy, giving it a soft texture and an easy, laid‑back style. Best enjoyed chilled, try it with grilled chicken salad, or pizza.”
