U.S. government foots bill for pro-Trump, anti-communist ad amid lavish Xi welcome, halted press ban

A pro-Trump ad denouncing communism that was paid for by the U.S. government has hit the airwaves as the president hosts China’s Xi Jinping, a communist, and as a judge blocks Mr. Trump’s ban on three news outlets from the White House. CBS News’ Weijia Jiang reports. Then, Steve Yates, former deputy national security adviser to Dick Cheney, joins with analysis.
