With The Celebrity Traitors on our screens to welcome in Spooky Season, all eyes are on Claudia Winkleman and her incredible wardrobe of stylish looks perfect for a Scottish castle. However, eagle-eyed viewers will notice another style icon amongst the Faithfuls – Celia Imrie.

Celia, who is known for her roles in films like the Bridget Jones series, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel series, and Calendar Girls, has also been busy in recent months promoting the film adaptation of Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club, and there is one look from the press tour that had people’s heads turning. Celia wore a classy ivory pinstriped co-ord set from a high-street brand, and it is still available to buy.

The set, which comes from ME+EM, consists of the £195 Italian Wool Blend Clever Trouser and the £195 Italian Wool Blend Tailored Waistcoat. Both items are still available online in sizes 4 to 18, and look stunning whether the wearer is 73, like Celia, or 33.

Both the waistcoat and trousers are made from an Italian wool blend, giving a premium structured feel. However, they are dry clean only, so shoppers should make sure not to throw them in the washing machine in case they get ruined.

If this style of waistcoat isn’t calling out to fashionistas, they could take a look at the Chocolate Brown Waistcoat with Linen and Chocolate Brown Patch Pocket Culottes with Linen from Next. At £39 each, set is perfectly chic without the premium price tag, in a gorgeous shade of brown that’s ideal for autumn.

Alternatively, Reformation has its Taryn Two Piece waistcoat and trouser set for £298. Available in black, beige, deep orange and light brown, the wide leg trousers contrast with the collared waistcoat for a refined look that’s perfect for the office or a dinner date.

While there were no reviews for the co-ord set on the ME+EM website, shoppers have written positive reviews on Trustpilot, leaving an average 4.5 out of five star rating. One shopper said: “This was a superb experience. I couldn’t believe it. Beautifully packaged and so well organised. A breeze from start to finish. How refreshing. I will definitely use them again and cannot recommend them and their service more highly.”

Another wrote: “I have been buying from Me&Em for the last ten years and their clothes form a significant part of my wardrobe. They are usually my first port of call, whether I need something special or for an everyday staple which I know will last for years.”

A third said: “Beautiful clothes packaged well delivered on time and hassle free returns if necessary – only happens rarely! Also great cross referencing of styles so clothes can be mix and matched. Lovely of the minute yet somehow timeless designs.”

Some left feedback about the sizing, with one saying: “The clothes are lovely but I wish there was more size 18 and xl there is so much more I could have ordered.”

Another commented on the prices. They said: “I have been buying in the store for years, I have always love it, but I feel it is overpriced now and returns cant be done in the store. But it is still one of my favourites store for it quality and design.”
