Toblerone fans are only just noticing tiny detail in logo

Toblerone has been a staple for sweet-toothed Brits for generations. We love finding them beneath our Christmas trees and often pick them up when passing through airports.

But despite being a common feature in our household for decades, there are some facts about the popular chocolate that people are only just learning.

And secondly, a foodie blew people’s minds by revealing that the logo features a hidden detail that many miss on first glance. So, have you ever spotted it?

On X, a user revealed how they stumbled across the packaging detail.

They recalled: “My son had his first Toblerone today. ‘What’s the bear for?’ Me: ‘What bear?’ I was today years old when I found out there’s a bear in the Toblerone logo!”

The bear is positioned upright on its hind legs and forms part of the two-tone emblem. Despite recent modifications to the mountain design, the creature has been kept on.

So why is it actually there? Thankfully, social media users were quick to offer an explanation.

One wrote: “Toblerone comes from Bern, Switzerland. Also known as the city of bears.”

It makes a lot of sense when you think about it – but people are still struggling to get their heads around the tiny logo feature they overlooked for years.

One joked: “There is clearly no bear in the logo of Tobl… oh, there he is. Damn.”

Another responded in astonishment: “I have never seen that!!! Your son is brilliant!”

And a third chimed in: “Eating them for 50 years never noticed that, your lad’s a genius, in my defence the wrapper is the last thing I’m thinking about when I get one.”
