Spotify is suffering a widespread outage – with the popular music app failing to load for many users.

On X, the streaming service confirmed the disruption, and said: “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!”

Downdetector has received thousands of reports about the outage – and dozens of comments from affected users.

“Definitely a gremlin in the works,” one wrote.

Another calm user added: “I NEED MY BACKGROUND MUSIC NOW!!!!!!!”
