Shoppers praise Charlotte Tilbury face oil that gives ‘a lovely glow’
When it comes to skincare, especially for mature skin, it can take time to find products that actually work. But now, Cult Beauty has the Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil – 8ml for £27, which is currently sold out on the Charlotte Tilbury website.
The face oil is also available in the bigger size of 30ml, which is in stock on the Charlotte Tilbury site for £62. This facial oil has been described as giving skin ‘such a lovely glow’ from ‘mature’ customers, making it a trusted item up for grabs.
The product itself is a rich oil that promises to nourish, firm and brighten complexions thanks to its vitamin-rich formula, the website says. It contains lavender, rose absolute, neroli essential oils – and more – which the brand suggests ‘reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles’.
It features a ‘next generation’ collagen matrix and plant extracts that are said to work together to create a film on the skin that prevents water loss. It also has a base of avocado, olive, babassu, raspberry, evening primrose and blueberry oils that ‘flood the skin with vitamins and essential fatty acids’.
For best results, the Cult Beauty website says to massage a few drops into clean skin both morning and evening after moisturiser and before sunscreen. For an extra boost, it can also be mixed into a moisturiser.
Alternatively LookFantastic has the Elemis Pro Collagen Rose Facial Oil 15ml for £75. This is a lightweight oil with ‘soothing properties’ designed to hydrate the skin for dewy looking results.
A slightly cheaper option is the No7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil 30ml for £27.95 from Boots. Described as being lightweight and non-greasy, it includes a range of nourishing ingredients including jojoba oil.
The Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil has been rated a high 4.7 out of five stars from over 100 reviews on the Cult Beauty website. One shopper said: “As a mature lady I have tried many products but this one, although a little pricey, really does feed the skin and gives it such a lovely glow. Great to be used alone on those non-makeup days. Once applied there is no tightness or dryness of the skin, as you can feel it working its way in. Delivery is fast and packaging is done so well, this product is really fab.”
Another wrote: “This oil smells lovely and goes on lovely as well. I find that if you put some night cream on your hand and then blend in this oil it is fantastic. Lovely product.” A third commented: “I love this oil, I’ve just finished the bottle now and will be repurchasing. It’s not too heavy on my skin for being an oil and makes my skin look very hydrated.”
However, not every product suits everyone, and one buyer removed a star, saying: “Use this whenever I think skin needs hydrating or feels dry, find you need 3-4 drops when skin is dry. However I’m not sure it’s worth the price.” A second commented: “It is expensive hence only 4 stars buts smells and feels great on the skin.”
