Rosanne Cash Postpones Shows Due to ‘Unforeseen Medical Emergency’
After missing next three concerts, Singer anticipates being back on the road September 19
Rosanne Cash has postponed her next three shows due to an “unforeseen medical emergency,” her management wrote on social media Monday.
“She is recovering under her doctors’ supervision, who have recommended a temporary restriction on travel and performing,” Cash’s team said. “The restriction is impacting her upcoming Wyoming and Montana shows. Rosanne deeply regrets the cancellation and looks forward to rescheduling appearances.”
While Cash’s management did not elaborate what the medical emergency was, it won’t keep the singer off the road too long: While her three shows in Wyoming and Montana this week were postponed, an updated touring itinerary anticipates Cash returning to the road on September 19 for a gig in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
After that, Cash has booked a week’s worth of gigs in Europe in October, as well as a trio of shows in California this January.
On August 30, Cash took part in Judy Collins’ farewell concert in Lenox, Massachusetts without issue.
