The Princess of Wales was a beacon of radiance as she beamed from ear to ear while stepping out in the Capital. Princess Kate launched a new exciting project related to her early years work today.

The 43-year-old visited the National Portrait Gallery (NPG) to launch an interactive trail aimed at helping children under five develop their social and emotional skills. Kate is very passionate about this work, and the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s new project is based on the new Shaping Us Framework announced earlier this week.

This outlines 30 social and emotional skills crucial to living a healthy and happy life at all ages. Meanwhile, Kate delighted fans after she cut a stylish figure donning a statement blazer.

Although official outfit details have not been released, it is thought that she splashed out on the new garment as she has not been seen in it before. She paired this with a charcoal-coloured turtleneck and striped black trousers. The queen-in-waiting showed that comfort.

A palace source has claimed that the mother of three wants to ensure the focus remains on the “issues, people, and the causes she is spotlighting”, rather than her clothing.

Although she appreciates the interest in what she is “wearing from some of the public”.

“There is an absolute feeling that it [the public work] is not about what the princess is wearing,” a palace source told The Times.

“There will always be an appreciation of what the princess is wearing from some of the public, and she gets that. But do we need to be officially always saying what she is wearing? No. The style is ther,e but it’s about the substance,” they continued.
