Over 24 million households now have a Tesco Clubcard. Clubcard holders can accumulate points through various methods, such as using their Clubcard while shopping (either in-store or online) or when buying fuel at Tesco. These points can be converted into vouchers, which can be redeemed for weekly groceries, fuel, or special offers with Tesco Mobile.

Customers can swap them for double or triple their value with over 100 Clubcard Reward partners, or take advantage of various deals offered by Reward Partners. Martin Lewis has encouraged all Clubcard members to review their vouchers right away, as £11million worth are due to expire on Saturday (February 28) at 11:59 PM. If they are not exchanged during this time, they will expire, and members will miss out on using their points.

The Money Saving Expert (MSE) website reads: “If you’re unsure when yours expire and you’ve still got them in paper format, check the date on the voucher itself.

“If you’ve lost your paper vouchers, or are unsure if you had any in the first place, you can check on the Tesco Clubcard site or app.”

You can check the details of your Clubcard vouchers on the Tesco Clubcard website or through the app by choosing “Clubcard account” followed by “Vouchers”.

How to double or triple the value of your Tesco Clubcard vouchers

After you’ve found your vouchers, one choice is to use them at Tesco, where a £5 voucher, for instance, gives you £5 off your groceries.

However, you can significantly enhance the value of your vouchers by using them at Tesco’s Reward Partners instead. At the moment, you can receive double value at Alton Towers, Disney+, Hotels.com, and more.

Triple value at ASK Italian, Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s, Las Iguanas, Pizza Express, Prezzo Italian, or Zizzi.

How to extend Tesco Clubcard vouchers

If you’re not ready to use your Clubcard vouchers right away, MSE explains that you might have the option to extend their expiry date for an additional two years.

To do this, simply make a minor purchase (using your voucher) on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page or contribute to a charity partner.

The leftover balance will be added to your Clubcard account, and you’ll receive new vouchers that come with updated expiry dates (which will be valid for another two years). There is no minimum spend.

However, Martin Lewis pointed out: “Technically, under the Clubcard T&Cs, Tesco can refuse a Reward Partner order if it decides you’re trying to game the system by redeeming vouchers just to extend their validity – but we tested the trick at MoneySavingExpert.com Towers this week, and it worked just fine.”
