House GOP conference chair says Max Miller is “our nominee right now” despite abuse allegations

Michigan Rep. Lisa McClain, who is the House GOP conference chair, told “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan” that “I wish” the abuse allegations against Ohio Republican Rep. Max Miller “aren’t true,” but “he’s our nominee right now.” Miller is up for reelection this fall, but several prominent Republicans have declined to support him.
