Ella Langley canceled her show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Friday night due to a “serious security threat” to fans, venue staff, and her team.

The country star announced the news on social media hours before doors were set to open at the BOK Center. “Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show,” wrote Langley, who added that the decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, her security team, and venue personnel.

“I know how much time, travel, money, and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am,” Langley continued. “This is not a decision that was made lightly. I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else. I refuse to put anyone in harm’s way.”

A statement shared by the venue echoed Langley’s post, which added, “The safety and well-being of everyone involved is our absolute priority, and after careful consideration, we have determined that the show cannot proceed.” The venue said that information on ticket refunds will be shared soon.

Langley is currently on the tail end of her Dandelion headlining tour, which will conclude on Oct. 31 at the Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with special guests Kameron Marlowe and Gabriella Rose. Langley has recruited women to open for every date, choosing Rose, Kaitlin Butts, Avery Anna, Laci Kaye Booth, and Madeline Edwards for the tour, which launched in May.
