If you’re into makeup and skincare, chances are you’ve already come across Charlotte Tilbury and her cult-favourite beauty brand. Launched back in 2013 by the London-based beauty entrepreneur, the line has built a loyal following thanks to standout products like the Pillow Talk range, which famously began with a lipstick, and the ever-popular Magic Cream. Sales from the brand are few and far between, so when a limited-time offer does pop up, it’s usually worth paying attention to.

One that recently caught my eye was a discounted bundle featuring the Magic Cream alongside Charlotte’s AIRbrush Flawless Setting Spray. Both have been put through their paces by Daily Express Shopping Contributor Eve Wagstaff, who even relied on the setting spray on her wedding day. She said it kept her makeup looking “flawless and glowing” from start to finish – despite hours of dancing and even a few emotional moments.

The bundle currently on offer includes a 100ml setting spray and a 50ml moisturiser for £95.20, down from £112. Bought separately, the spray comes in at £33 and the moisturiser at £79. Given how rarely these bestsellers are discounted, it’s the kind of deal that’s hard to ignore.

The setting spray itself promises up to 16 hours of transfer-proof wear. Its formula includes aloe vera for hydration, Japanese green tea to refresh the skin, and a resin extract designed to create a smoother-looking finish.

Eve said: “Throughout the day, I only checked my face when I went to the toilet, but every time, I was pleased with how much my skin glowed. It felt fresh and hydrated.

“I was nervous the spray might feel sticky or leave a sheen, but it didn’t. Instead, it spritzed on over makeup as a super-fine mist, dried quickly, and didn’t disturb my base at all. My foundation, blusher, and even highlighter looked fresh from being applied in the morning through to the last dance — not a smudge in sight. In fact, the only thing I topped up all day was my lipstick.”

She was so impressed, in fact, that she went on to use the spray again during a sweltering Glastonbury, where temperatures climbed to 28C.

Other shoppers seem to agree. Reviews mention the spray helping makeup last through “10-hour shifts” at work.

Of course, not every product works the same for everyone. Eve noted that it didn’t aggravate her occasionally sensitive skin. She said: “I have quite dry, sensitive skin, but this didn’t irritate it, and the scent isn’t overpowering. It’s a very subtle, floral scent that fades quite quickly once the spray has dried. I didn’t notice it throughout the day.”

That said, those with oilier skin might find it less suitable. Some reviewers mentioned it didn’t provide enough mattifying effect for their liking, especially in more humid conditions.

Alongside the spray, the bundle also includes a tub of Magic Cream. If you’ve never tried it before, it quickly becomes clear how it earned its name. It sits firmly in the luxury category, reflected in the price, but Eve believes it’s worth it.

She said it “appears to transform” her skin.

She added that her face and neck feel “smoother and hydrated”. Eve said: “I’ve been using it for around three months, and I’ve definitely noticed my skin feels more hydrated.

It glides onto skin and leaves my face looking and feeling smoother and brighter. I apply it in the morning, as it’s great as a primer for makeup, but equally, I like to use it on its own.”

The formula is packed with ingredients like vitamins C and E, rosehip oil, and shea butter, along with hyaluronic acid, which helps draw moisture into the skin.

One thing to note: it doesn’t include SPF, so you’ll need to layer that on separately during the day—but it also means it works just as well as part of an evening skincare routine before bed.
