Clarins, No7 and Laura Mercier products drop below £6 in Boots deal
Boots shoppers who spend £35 this weekend can get £100 worth of free high-end products. It comes as the health and beauty retailer has launched The Premium Make Up Edit Beauty Bag – a limited-edition edit brimming with a range of luxury beauty brands for a fraction of the standard cost.
Retailing at £35, the collection features six products valued at £134.95, meaning customers save £99.95 – 5p shy of £100. Even better, five of the six items are full size, with the typical cost per product amounting to £5.83.
The collection comprises a mixture of skincare and makeup essentials from some of beauty’s most renowned names, including MAC, Fenty, Clarins, Laura Mercier, Iconic and No7. Everything comes inside a soft pastel beauty bag, with customers able to select between pink, lilac or green, ideal for holiday travel or overnight stays.
Amongst the standout choices inside is MAC’s viral MacStack Elevated mascara, which typically retails for £27 alone. It boasts a dual-sided, precision-tip curved brush ideal for achieving lifted, volumised lashes, while argan oil helps nourish the lashes and provide them with a fanned-out appearance.
While some beauty boxes showcase a hero product and several lower-value items, that’s certainly not the situation here, with the products all carrying an RRP between £14 and £29 – no filler items whatsoever. The Fenty Gloss Bomb Stix is valued at £24, while the Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer is priced at £26, reports the Mirror.
Also included is a liquid blush from the Boots No7 Pro Artist Range (£14.95) and a Clarins Velvet Cleansing Milk valued at £14. Completing the edit is a Laura Mercier Caviar Stick worth £29. Those purchasing the set will receive either Metallic Taupe or Rosegold, though the drawback is that the shade is selected at random, meaning buyers are unable to choose their preferred option.
Another potential downside is that the set is heavily centred around makeup, so for shoppers seeking something a touch more well-rounded, the ASOS Face + Body Travel Essentials Beauty Bag is worth considering, valued at £111 but available for £42. It features a variety of products, including a hair oil, dry shampoo and even a sample of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
Over at OK! Beauty Box, the Getaway Edit is valued at over £175 and retails at £39.99. It boasts a £65 Rodial SPF worth more than the box itself, alongside nine other summer-ready products spanning skincare, SPF, fragrance, wellness and makeup, seven of which are full size.
