A look at some candidates vying for Graham Platner’s Democratic nomination for Senate

Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner told his staff he will not file paperwork to officially withdraw from his race until Monday, the last day to do so. Platner said he was dropping out on Wednesday night, days after a former girlfriend accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2021.
