James Bond and Indiana Jones famously shared the screen when Sean Connery turned up in the Last Crusade. But did you know that Daniel Craig co-starring with Harrison Ford in a 2011 action thriller?

And it’s not just any action thriller, it’s a what-if aliens invaded the Wild West? Set in 1870s New Mexico Territory, Cowboys & Aliens stars Craig as an outlaw who wakes up with no memory of how a mysterious bracelet became attached to his forearm.

Ford co-stars as a wealthy and powerful cattleman who Craig’s lead has to team up with to save the townspeople, who have been abducted by aliens. The impressive cast also includes Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Walton Goggins and Wyatt Russell. Directed by Jon Favreau, Cowboys and Aliens is on BBC One tonight at 11:25pm and will be streaming on BBC iPlayer for a limited time afterwards.
