Her bridal bouquet, created by florist Millie Richardson, included sweet peas, myrtle – a tradition in Harriet’s family and for the Royal Family – and lily of the valley. The bespoke wedding gown was crafted entirely by the brand’s in-house team at its West London atelier, using “exceptionally fine” French Leavers Lace dating to the early 1900s. Royal fans weighed in on Harriet’s ensemble and took to social media to share their views.

One user wrote on X: “She was a very beautiful bride.”

Another one added: “Beautiful, especially the lace. That veil is lovely.”

A third one said: “Very lovely and classy!”

A fourth one commented: “Harriet was a very beautiful bride. Her dress and tiara are stunning.”

A fifth one then wrote: “She looks beautiful and the dress is fabulous.”

A sixth one chimed: “Absolutely stunning.”

The dress took the designers nearly six days to make, totalling 140 hours. Opening up on the wedding gown, the fashion house said: “An intentional dialogue between tradition and modernity runs throughout the design.

“A square-neck column underdress is paired with a delicately cropped over-jacket that sits just above the waist, while an early 19th-century-inspired three-meter train, flat and linear in silhouette, falls directly from the waist beneath the square cut-out back.

“Every element is rooted in a signature Emilia Wickstead silhouette and realised in Italian ivory crêpe, overlaid with exceptionally fine French Leavers lace featuring an all-over prairie flower motif that continues to the edge of Harriet’s veil.

“The lace is meticulously hand-applied throughout. Its heritage traces back to the early 1900s, following the invention and patenting of the revolutionary Leavers loom in Britain.

“Scalloped lace appliqué enhances the gown’s architectural, sculptural lines, extending across the neckline and cuffs. Dome buttons allow each scalloped edge to meet with precision along the centre back, underscoring the craftsmanship at the heart of the design.”

Harriet wore the same dress for the reception at Gatcombe Park following the wedding ceremony.
