“We’re not taking vaccines away from anybody,” said Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sidelined six routine vaccines from its schedule for children. The flu vaccine is now recommended only for children at high risk of serious illness or after a consultation between doctors and parents, “which is how it ought to be,” he said.
