We’re love Monsoon’s fun Fair Isle knitwear – now on sale
Fair Isle knits come into their own at this time of year; the classic geometric patterns feel festive without being overtly Christmassy, and there are endless takes on the look to choose from. Monsoon has absolutely nailed its designs this year – and they are all 20% off.
Some of the most eye-catching knits are part of the brand’s second collaboration with stylist Sarah Corbett-Winder. There’s one in particular that has caught my eye: a forest green cardigan that’s a quirky take on a Fair Isle pattern. It swaps classic geometric motifs for ducks, toadstools and pom-poms, with pops of hot pink and bright blue. It’s on sale for £63.20, down from £79.
Made from a cosy acrylic blend, it has chunky tortoiseshell buttons and comes in sizes small to XXL (equivalent to UK 8 to 24). This one also happens to have caught the eye of Carrie Johnson, wife of former prime minister Boris Johnson, who shared an image of herself wearing the cardi on her Instagram stories. Shoppers who want to snap it up for themselves will need to act fast – at the time of writing, it is already sold out in a couple of sizes.
For anyone who prefers jumpers to cardis, there is a similar pattern in an on-trend chocolate brown knit, with splashes of yellow, orange and pale pink in the mix. That one is currently available in all sizes and is the same price as the cardigan.
