New fast zombie horror movie running up Netflix UK Top 10 | Films | Entertainment

Earlier this year, 28 Years Later brought back Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s sprinting zombies from the 2002 classic 28 Days Later. Ever since the groundbreaking original with Cillian Murphy, fast zombies have been appearing in other horror movies. And now a brand new one has just hit Netflix this weekend called The Elixir. The Indonesian movie is already at No 5 in the UK film chart on the streamer.

The horror film’s synopsis reads: “In Wanirejo Village, a zombie outbreak leaves a dysfunctional family with no choice but to fight for survival together. Starring Mikha Tambayong, Eva Celia, Marthino Lio, Dimas Anggara, Varen Arianda Calief, Ardit Erwandha, and Claresta Taufan.”

The Elixir is streaming now on Netflix.
