Boden blouse ‘looks good with trousers’ for the office is on sale

Eagle-eyed shoppers are often on the lookout for style with savings. Those searching for a fashionable, discounted piece or a gift for a loved one could be in luck with Boden.

Boden’s Trim Detail Jersey Shirt is currently priced at £39.50, down from £79, and is available in sizes XS to XL. With its scalloped trim yoke and shirred cuffs, this piece can be dressed up or down – for the office or a date night.

It comes in two colours – a striking bright blue with ivory stripes or a rumba red with navy embroidery – and it has a straight fit and is designed to fall between the waist and hip. Plus, to make life easy, the shirt is machine washable. 

An alternative is this Friends Like These Merlot blouse, available from Next for £35. The piece comes in three colours, including cream, merlot red and teal green, although the green is currently out of stock, and in sizes 8 to 22. 

Or there’s the Speckled Long Sleeve Blouse from New Look, which is priced at £21.99. The blouse, which has a speckled pattern, comes in sizes 6 to 20 and can be worn for work days or the weekends, the brand says. 

Shoppers at Boden were impressed with the shirt. One reviewer loved the length, saying: “This is a really gorgeous, soft blouse with all the lovely Boden trim detail. It looks great with jeans or smart trousers. It was true to size and the length was perfect. I bought it in blue and white stripes but I don’t like the red colour way. I’d definitely buy another colour if it was available.”

Another shopper said, with the review originally written in French: “A magnificent blouse that includes everything we love about originality, quality, colour, embroidery – I love it.” While a third added via a review on Trustpilot: “Easy ordering and fast, free shipping, plus a great product!”

Not all shoppers were fully satisfied with the fitting of Boden’s clothes. One review on Trustpilot said: “I wanted to love the dress I ordered but my figure wasn’t attractive in that style. I returned the dress at Happy Returns and was very pleased with the ease of returning.”

Another Trustpilot review, on the ordering process, added: “The quality and fit of the blazer are excellent. It just took a very long time to get here.”
