If you’ve been watching The Celebrity Traitors you’ll know that host Claudia Winkleman’s wardrobe is already sparking as much chatter as Alan Carr murdering Paloma Faith, and Kate Garraway using the word “flabbergasted” on repeat. Among her standout pieces are her designer Bottega Veneta lug boots, which are currently available at Flannels for £1,080.

Made from calfskin leather in Italy with a chunky rubber sole, the boots have a bold silhouette and are ideal for stomping about with style.

However, if you haven’t got Claudia’s wardrobe allowance (who has!?) but still want her look, we’ve found two high street alternatives – including one pair that’s 50% off. 

First up are these Dune Palmo leather boots, which are a similar height and style to the Botegas, albeit without the treads on the sole. They also have elasticated side panels, and a handy pull tab at the back. Available in sizes 3 to 8, they currently reduced to £84 down from £169 at Debenhams, saving customers 50%.

For something a little softer-looking than the designer pair but still with that biker edge, these faux leather knee-high boots from New Look have a heavy sole reminiscent of the Bottega Venatas. However, while Claudia’s pair are slip-ons, these have a zip.

They’re wide fit and available in sizes 4 to 9. Priced at £54.99, they’re selling quickly according to the website and already have a five star rating. One shopper wrote: “Love love love!
