10th Annual Allman Betts Family Revival Tour: See the Dates

Devon Allman and Duane Betts, the sons of Allman Brothers Band founding members Gregg Allman and Dicky Betts who perform as the Allman Betts Band, are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Allman Betts Family Revival Tour.

Named after Allman Brothers Band album A Decade of Hits 1969-1979, the 20-date A Decade of Revival Tour will feature the Allman Betts Band performing with a bevy of rotating guests, including Robert Randolph, Sierra Hull, Judith Hill, Andy Frasco, Luther Dickinson, Jimmy Hall, Steel Beans, Larry McCray, Cody Dickinson, Alex Orbison, and Abby Stahlschmidt at various stops on the trek. “I can’t believe it’s been 10 years of our beautiful gathering of friends to celebrate our dads’ songbook,” Devon Allman said in a statement. “Being the faithful custodians to this historic body of work is not lost on Duane and I. It is our high honor. We couldn’t possibly hold it any closer to our hearts. We can’t wait to evoke the spirits and celebrate 10 years. Be with us.”

Duane Betts added: “10 years strong! It’s a gift playing this timeless songbook with so many of our beautiful, talented friends. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have the Revival continue into year 10. See y’all on the road!”

Each show will include two sets. One will feature songs from the 1970s paying homage to the original lineup. The second set focuses on 1990s-era Allman Brothers’ material.

The annual event — which unfurls similarly to Last Waltz with its ensemble revolving cast of blues, Americana, country, and rock musicians — initially began as a 70th birthday celebration of Gregg Allman. It’s now become a yearly tradition where “Devon and Duane honor their families’ legacies, evoking the haunting spirit of the greats that came before them by gathering a world class ensemble,“ per a press release.
