Jennifer Burris, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina, has been named president of Buffalo State University, part of the State University of New York, effective July 1.

Donald Comer, interim president of Lane College in Tennessee, has been appointed to the permanent role, effective immediately.

SherRhonda Gibbs, dean of the economics and business division at Morehouse College, has been appointed president of Texas College, effective July 1.

Gundolf Graml, interim president of Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, has been named the institution’s permanent president.

Denise Jones Gregory, interim president of Jackson State University, has been named to the role permanently, starting May 1.

Shekar Kurpad, founding director of the Wisconsin Institute of NeuroScience, professor of neurosurgery and senior associate dean of neuroscience in the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Medicine, has been appointed president and CEO of the medical college, effective July 1.

Amelia Manning, dean of Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement, has been named president of Chamberlain University in Illinois, effective May 18.

David McManus, the Richard M. Haidack Professor in Medicine, chair and professor of medicine at the UMass Chan Medical School, has been selected as chancellor of the institution, effective in July.

Cheryl Norman, vice president of academic and student affairs at Central Lakes College in Minnesota, has been named president of Ridgewater College, also in Minnesota, effective July 1.

Jeffrey Osgood, interim president of Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, has been chosen as the institution’s permanent president, effective immediately.

Nicole Reaves, executive vice president and chief programs officer at Wake Technical Community College in North Carolina, has been appointed president of SUNY Schenectady County Community College, effective July 15.

Shane Reeves, dean of the academic board at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, has been appointed president of the University of Wyoming, effective in July.

Jamal Scott, vice president of undergraduate education and dean of the undergraduate college at National Louis University, has been appointed president of Highland Community College in Illinois, effective June 15.

Scott Tollison, provost and executive vice president of academic affairs at the Mississippi University for Women, has been named interim president of the institution, effective July 1.

Sylvia Torti, president of the College of the Atlantic in Maine, has been appointed president of Westminster University in Utah, effective in July.
