Woman surprises mum during Paris trip and reaction is priceless | Travel News | Travel

Most people will have at least one travel destination in mind when they imagine their ideal getaway.

Crystal Nicole, a lifestyle influencer with over 576.6 thousand followers on TikTok, wanted to make her mum’s dream come true, and that meant bringing her on a holiday to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower. So that’s what she decided to do.

In a video that has gone viral with over 1.5million views at the time of writing, Crystal films her and her mum’s travel experience from the airport to their hotel, when they suddenly catch a climpse of the iconic monument.

“POV: your mom is obsessed with the Eiffel Tower but doesn’t know she’s staying at the hotel with the best Eiffel Tower view,” she wrote on the TikTok video.

The mum’s jaw quickly hits the floor as she exclaimed: “Oh my god, I see it. I’ve always read about it, but now my eyes are on it.”

She continued to be amazed at the famous tower and went on to take photos and videos with her phone from the vehicle.

As they got out of the taxi by their hotel, the mum once again was surprised by how close they were to the tower, which was visible from the hotel entrance.

The video then cut to the mum smiling towards the camera as she holds up a key card, waiting to see their room for the first time. Little did she know that her daughter had yet another surprise for her.

As they entered the room, the mum quickly walked to the glass door to the balcony to look at their view, but it took her a while to realise that her daughter had booked them a room with a video of the Eiffel Tower.

“What’s that?” Crystal asked her mum, who then looked to the right only to see the Eiffel Tower standing a few roads away.

“We’re right by.. Oh my god! We’re right by the Eiffel Tower!” the mum said while jumping up and down in excitement. As they walked out onto the balcony, the mum asked: “Did you know we were gonna be right here?”

“Yeah,” Crystal said, before her mum came up to hug her from behind.

“Girl, that is amazing,” the mum said as they started posing for photos from the balcony with the tower standing behind them. “Paris, baby, Paris!”

Later, Crystal secretly filmed her mum filming the Eiffel Tower from the balcony again, while sharing her excitement from behind the camera.

“Turning her dreams into realities, it’s like she turned into a kid again,” Crystal wrote in the caption of the video.
