Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival Reveals Lineup
The stacked bill adds to a unique weekend where Wilco and Billy Bragg will perform songs from Mermaid Avenue
It’s here — and it’s stacked. The lineup for Wilco‘s 2026 Solid Sound festival has officially been announced. The Breeders, Gang of Four, Billy Bragg, and S.G. Goodman will join Wilco for their unique, folk rock-driven, three-day festival next summer. Gang of Four is a notable headliner; in 2025, the band wrapped their 2025 farewell tour. L’Rain, Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band, Sharp Pins, the Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis, and Hannah Cohen, will also be performing.
In October, Solid Sound announced their kick-off night special: a set from Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and Billy Bragg performing songs from their iconic Mermaid Avenue collaboration, which features lost lyrics from folk icon Woody Guthrie. The performance will mark the first time the two musicians have ever played a full live show together. Now, they will be joined by an exciting slate of eclectic artists, ranging in genres from post-punk to jazz and folk rock.
Solid Sound will take over the modern-art-filled grounds of MassMOCA in North Adams, Massachusetts on June 26-28. In addition to the lineup of musicians, the festival also features John Hodgman’s Comedy Cabaret (with sets from comedians including Jo Firestone), poster silk screening demos with Ghost-Town, a screening of a new film about Bob James from Mikael Jorgensen, and nature activities.
Three-day passes for Solid Sound are on sale on the festival’s website.
