As we approach summer, you’ll likely be thinking about the books you want to add to your holiday reading list and beyond. Look no further; Waterstones has you covered. If you’re in the mood for something gritty to sink your teeth into, or a bit of escapism, this list has it all. From a Rebecca Yarros offering that will have you on the edge of your seat to two novels by the same author.

Here are the top five newly released books recommended by Waterstones.

The next instalment in the ACOTAR series will be released on October 27, but the details of the plot are being kept under wraps for now.

Much like the sixth instalment, the seventh is also being kept under wraps from readers. But they can expect that the story will provide a spellbinding adventure.

The seventh book is being released on January 12 of next year.

This book is set to serve as a bridge between the main instalment series, and the cover will be released soon. However, the plot line remains a highly guarded secret.

Untitled Empyrean will be released on September 29.
