Victoria Beckham’s £37 lipstick perfect for Valentine’s Day
With Valentine’s Day coming up, beauty fans might be on the hunt for the perfect red lipstick – and Victoria Beckham could have the just the thing. The brand is increasingly known for its makeup and skincare offerings, and shoppers are going wild for this £37 moisturising lipstick called – what else – Posh.
The shade Pop is drawing particular praise for being the perfect cherry red, just in time for February 14. The Posh Lipstick is said to be designed to deliver creamy, vibrant colour with the feel of a moisturising balm rather than a traditional matte lipstick. Nourishing oils help lock in moisture, keeping lips comfortable throughout the day and giving a subtly fuller look without any tingling or heaviness.
The shade Pop has been described on Instagram as a ‘cherry red that never waits for an occasion’. It is also said to be a ‘creamy, vibrant colour with a balm like feel, delivering rich pigment and cushiony comfort in one effortless swipe’.
According to the website, it also pairs well with the brand’s Lip Definer in Red for a more defined finish, but works just as well worn alone for a softer look. The lipstick is dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, vegan, and free from gluten and soy, aligning with the brand’s clean beauty approach. Each lipstick comes in a 2g tube.
If beauty fans want to shop around, there is the Estee Lauder Pure Color Creme Lipstick for £28 (was £35) at M&S. This one comes in a range of colours but the special offer is on the colour Confident – a subtly pink shade. Each lipstick is formulated with shea butter and vitamin E to not only make lips look good but also to keep them moisturised.
Another option is the Mac Macximal Silky Matter Lipstick in the colour Twig Twist for £20 down from £25 on LookFantastic. Described as being MAC’s signature lipstick formula and shade, this product is said to provide up to 12 hours of full coverage and it is enriched with coconut oil, organic shea butter and cocoa butter.
But Victoria Beckham’s Posh Moisturising Colour Lipstick has garnered legions of fans from over 6000 reviews. One person said: “Very nice and pigmented.” Another wrote: “Best lipstick I’ve ever had.”
A third shopper chimed in, saying: “Glides on effortlessly. Love the texture and the quality is superb!” However, some people did say they wished the product lasted a bit longer, with one shopper writing: “Beautiful in every way. I just wish there was more of it. I feel like I run out of these products quickly.”
Another commented: “This lipstick goes on well and the color is very nice. I wish it lasted longer, it seems to fade pretty quickly.”
