U.S. and German scientists win Nobel Price in medicine for discoveries on optogenetics
American Karl Deisseroth, a neuroscientist and psychiatrist, has won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, along with two German scientists. Their discoveries in optogenetics could reshape how we study the brain and understand how it processes information.
