As new poll numbers show that the majority of Americans disapprove of how President Donald Trump is handling immigration, his administration is defending new deportations of families involving children who are allegedly U.S. citizens. Last week a 4-year-old with a rare form of cancer was sent to Honduras with his mother and immigration advocates say he now doesn’t have access to his medication. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
