Agatha Christie is one of the best-selling authors of all time, and she has penned some of the world’s most popular novels, which have been adapted to the screen. In a list on IMDB, movie-lovers have ranked the best and worst Agatha Christie films.

The English detective novelist and playwright wrote over 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections. Some of her most notable titles include Murder on the Orient Express and The Mystery of the Blue Train. Christie became known as the “queen of crime” and famously wrote the world’s longest-running play, Mousetrap.

10. Dead Man’s Folly (1986)

During a murder hunt game at a country house, to which Hercule Poirot is invited as an “expert”, a real murder occurs.

9. Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple: 4.50 from Paddington (1987)

A friend of Miss Marple’s sees a woman being strangled in a passing train.

This classic film is one that many will have seen and enjoyed.

In December 1935, when his transcontinental luxury train is stranded by deep snow, detective Hercule Poirot is called on to solve a murder that occurred in his car the night before, with a multitude of suspects.
