The Batman Part 2 teaser trailer lands with new delayed release date | Films | Entertainment
Four years ago, Robert Pattinson starred in The Batman with his Dark Knight taking on the Penguin and the Riddler. He’s now currently filming Matt Reeves’ Part II sequel, which has had its release date delayed yet again.
The disappointing news has been shared in a first-look teaser video of R Batz, facing the camera. A six-year gap between these two movies really is quite something.
Returning for The Batman: Part II are Jeffrey Wright’s Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis’ Alfred and Colin Farrell’s The Penguin, who had his own miniseries set between the two films. Joining them this time around is Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent, Gotham’s district attorney, who ends up becoming Two-Face and Scarlett Johansson as his wife, Gilda Dent, who is the serial killer Holiday in the comics. However, there is speculation that she may actually be playing Poison Ivy.
The Batman: Part II will now hit cinemas on February 18, 2028.
