A range of popular food, drinks and cars have been recalled this week, with several notices issued warning customers to stop consuming or using the affected products immediately. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has recently issued multiple alerts concerning incorrect labelling, faulty cans and potential metal and glass contamination.
Anyone with the affected food and drink items has been strongly advised not to consume them and to return them to store for a full refund. Meanwhile, a popular range of vehicles has been subject to a mass recall due to a fire risk. Owners of the affected cars will be contacted to arrange an appointment. Here is a roundup of the latest recalls….
Chocolate bar
The Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar, manufactured by Buttermilk Confections, has been recalled by the FSA due to the presence of milk not listed on the label. This presents a significant risk to anyone suffering from a milk allergy or intolerance.
The affected packs are 45g in size with a best before date of June 15, 2027, carrying batch code BM26105. Buttermilk Confections said: “If you have bought Buttermilk Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar as detailed above, do not eat it.”
Customers are advised to return the product to store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

Car
A widespread recall has been issued over fears that certain vehicles may catch fire. Global automotive giant Stellantis has recalled more than one million Jeep vehicles worldwide, with numerous models withdrawn from UK roads amid concerns over spontaneous combustion caused by overheating.
The issue stems from faulty wiring in electric hydraulic power steering pumps. The affected vehicles were manufactured between 2021 and 2025, with Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator models involved.
Owners of at-risk vehicles will be contacted to arrange an appointment at a Jeep retailer. A Stellantis spokesperson said: “Having customer safety and satisfaction at the core of its values, Stellantis is voluntarily recalling 1,834 Jeep Wrangler in the UK to inspect, and if necessary, repair or replace the wiring harness and/or electric hydraulic power steering pump.”

Fizzy drink
Dalston Soda Company has issued a recall of Dalston’s Pineapple Soda due to a packaging fault. There is a concern that the cans may unexpectedly split apart, leaving potentially dangerous sharp edges.
The notice said: “This may present a risk of injury. Do not drink it. Please safely dispose of the product.” Customers have been advised not to return the items but to “safely dispose” of them.
The recall added: “Handle the cans as little as possible, place them carefully, upright, in a sealed bag and dispose of them with your household waste.”
The recall affects 330ml single cans with batch code 037130 and best before 04/08/2027, as well as 4 x 330ml multipacks with batch code 037129 and best before 04/08/2027.
