Skechers trainers now half price and just £29

If you’ve been on the hunt for the right pair of trainers that combine comfort with style, we’ve spotted a discounted pair of Skechers trainers in Amazon’s Spring sale that could tick all of the boxes. The Summits Trainers are said to be so comfy that they are like “walking on clouds”, according to shoppers. Even better, they’re currently more than half price for a limited period. As is often the case with Amazon sales, the discounts can be for a limited time, and there’s no telling when they will change.

The Skechers Summits Trainers in white were previously priced at £51 and have now been reduced by 51%. This brings the cost down to a far more affordable £29.

However, the price may fluctuate depending on the size and colour you choose.

The Skechers trainers are available in sizes two to nine, including half sizes, and come in 10 colours, including white, black, black and pink, charcoal and green, and navy, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The trainers are designed for casual wear or exercise. They come with a cushioned footbed and shock-absorbing midsole, making them great for days out in the city or walks in the countryside.

They are made from a breathable mesh fabric, ideal for keeping feet cool during prolonged wear. And the bungee lace front means there’s no fussing with traditional laces, and instead you have the look of laces with the ease of a slip-on shoe (ideal for those with mobility issues).

Amazon has also discounted the men’s version of the Summit Trainers in black to £52.64, down from £74. They’re available in sizes 5.5 to 11.5, with plenty of stock options.

Skechers currently has a 4.5-star rating out of five based on more than 28,590 reviews. One delighted shopper said: “Totally love these. As a walker, they are so comfortable and fit perfectly, will definitely buy again.”

A second wrote: “Bought a size seven and I have wide feet. These trainers are so comfortable, they slip on and off easily. Th,ey look really nice. Good value. Wore them every day for 12 days whilst on holiday in Europe, walked many miles,” a third penned. “As with all of my Skechers, I felt like I was walking on clouds. Bonus is that they looked great with dresses and jeans.”

Among the less favourable reviews, one shopper gave the Summit Sneakers a three-star rating because they were too big.

They said: “Nice light shoes, good price, but very large fitting. Definitely size down. Not good for slim feet. I have had to add an insert. I would have returned, but I needed [them] for work. I’d definitely pay the extra for a better fit.”

However, a more positive review added: “These shoes are comfortable, durable, and stylish. They provide good support for daily wear and fit true to size.

“The material feels high-quality, and they are suitable for both casual and semi-formal occasions. Overall, they are a reliable and versatile choice for everyday use.”
