Shoppers say £42 Skechers boots are ‘so comfortable’

Skechers is a brand many shoppers turn to for for comfortable footwear, and Amazon currently has an offer on a pair of boots that combine the comfort of trainers with a style that’s perfect for autumn.

The online retail giant has cut the price of the On The Go Harvest ankle boots, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Usually priced at £64, they’re currently on offer for £42 as party of the Prime Big Deal Days sale, which runs until 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 8. To take advantage of the offer, you must be an Amazon Prime member. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial here.

The boots are available in four colours, including black, chocolate, and dark taupe, and come in sizes two to 10, all of which are still in stock online. However, shoppers should bear in mind the price may fluctuate depending on the size and colour they choose.

Skechers has built a reputation for its memory foam footwear, which allows customers to wear their products for extended periods with minimal discomfort. These faux leather boots are no exception, as they have lightweight padding and a cushioned insole that promises to “energise every step”. 

Shoppers are saying these boots are “light and comfortable”, with one returning customer saying this is their second pair: “I’ve had them for years and they still look good,” they said. 

Another shopper said the boots are “comfort heaven for my very broad feet”, with “no rubbing whatsoever”, and feel “like walking on fluffy marshmallows”.

Another fan, who bought the boots for work, said they are “so comfortable and waterproof, the usual Skechers quality”.

The boots are a hit with people struggling with bunions, with one shopper saying “they accommodate the lot” and another commenting they “cheered me up” after bunion surgery. “Even with bunions, these boots are so comfortable,” said a third.

One potential issue some shoppers may have with the boots is that they sit quite low on the ankle, which might not suit those who prefer a boot with a bit of ankle support, so that’s worth considering before purchasing.
