Shakira, Peso Pluma, Don Omar, Grupo Frontera Headline Sueños Fest
Tito Double P, El Alfa, Arcangel, and Maria Becerra will also perform
On Tuesday, Sueños Fest announced that Shakira, Peso Pluma, Don Omar, and Grupo Frontera will headline its 2025 festival in Grant Park on May 24 and 25.
The festival features a mix of música mexicana stars and Latin pop and reggaeton acts. Shakira and Peso will lead the Saturday lineup, which also features Arcangel, El Alfa, Oscar Maydón, Dei V, Maria Becerra, El Malilla, NSQK, and Caleb Calloway. Sunday — led by Don Omar and Frontera — will feature Wisin, Tito Double P, Jhayco, Deorro, Omar Courtz, and Bellakath. Tribal music artist 3BallMTY are also featured on the lineup.
The announcement of performers comes just two days after Shakira won the award for Best Latin Pop Album for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran at the 2025 Grammys. She’s set to head on a headlining stadium tour this year.
The announcement comes after Peso’s headlining set was canceled by inclement weather in 2024. Peso said he’d make it up to fans, a promise he’s keeping this year. Meanwhile, Don Omar is also scheduled to headline Baja Beach Fest in Rosarito — the organizers’ Baja California-hosted fest — later this year. Sueños Fest will remain in Chicago through 2029, thanks to a five-year deal with the city.
“Ever since launching Baja Beach Fest in 2018, our dreams were to be able to expand an authentic reggaeton and Latin festival to the U.S,” co-founders of Baja Beach Fest Aaron Ampudia and Chris Den Uijl told Rolling Stone ahead of the first festival. “Being able to do it in Chicago with the producers of Lollapalooza in the iconic Grant Park makes it extra special.”
