Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are celebrating their love story on new single “Sunset Boulevard.” The ambient pop number was inspired by the couple’s first date on Los Angeles’ famed thoroughfare Sunset Blvd.

“Sunset Boulevard” arrives alongside a music video directed by longtime Gomez collaborator Petra Collins, which features a sultry, nostalgic aesthetic. In the clip, Gomez writhes on a bed as she croons, “Women of few words/ But for you I keep my mouth wide open/ Praying and hoping/ That ya quench my thirst/ Not just dip your toes in/ I want that/ Big, big, hard heart.”

“Sunset Blvd will always be a special place to us,” Gomez shared on Instagram when the single dropped.

“Sunset Boulevard” is the third song to emerge from Gomez and Blanco’s forthcoming collaborative LP, I Said I Love You First, out March 21 via SMG Music/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records. The couple announced the album earlier this year with “Scared of Loving You,” which was co-written and produced by Finneas. They followed that up with “Call Me When You Break Up,” featuring Gracie Abrams.

Gomez and Blanco confirmed their relationship in December 2023 and got engaged about a year later. Their new album is described as a celebration of their relationship and will chronicle the entirety of their story, from before they met to falling in love and looking towards the future together.

For Gomez, I Said I Love You will be her first album since 2020’s Rare (and first after she suggested to fans recently that her future would be focused more on acting than music). Blanco, meanwhile, hasn’t released an album since 2018’s Friends Keep Secrets, along with its 2021 follow-up deluxe edition, Friends Keep Secrets 2
