Samsung Galaxy smart watch now £41 in Amazon deal

Amazon is currently offering the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 Smart Watch with a 31% discount, bringing the price down from £59 to £41. The stylish grey watch has a large rectangular face that clearly displays the data of choice, including the date, time, step count and heart rate.

The Samsung smart watch provides up to 13 days of battery, from a single charge and reaches 65% in 30 minutes. The device tracks over 100 workouts, including running, cycling and walking, and provides valuable insights into sleep, oxygen levels and more. The watch can also receive notifications and messages if desired.

For shoppers wanting to explore more smart watch options, Argos is currently offering the Garmin Forerunner 165 GPS Running Smart Watch on sale for £199.99, down from £249.99. This device is compatible with both iOS and Android phone and offers up to 11 days of battery life in smart watch mode and up to 19 hours in GPS mode.

Boots has the Fitbit Inspire 3 Health & Fitness Tracker at a reduced price of £68.99 (RRP £84.99). This smart watch can track stress, fitness and sleep, and provides up to 10 days of battery. 

The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 Smart Watch is an Amazon’s Choice product; a highly rated, well-priced item that’s available to ship immediately. Over 400 customers have reviewed the gadget to date, awarding it an overall rating of 4.3 out of five.

One delighted buyer commented: “I bought this to replace my Garmin tracker. The watch face is a good size with a coloured screen. It is very easy to read, and that is coming from someone whose eyesight is increasingly poor (blame the old age).

“The watch was very easy to set up via the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app and is very easy to use. It has a number of different functions, far more than I will ever need to use, but useful nonetheless. The recording of the number of steps appears to be accurate and the vibrating alarm is very easy to set up and use.”

They continued: “Another feature I like is the ability to change the watch face via the app so that it shows the most useful data according to the individual user. There are so many to choose from I have not even bothered to count how many are available. Another useful feature is the magnetic charging cable which attaches to the watch incredibly easily (unlike my previous watch).

“I don’t know how long it takes to charge, as I have only had it a week and it is still on its first charge, so no complaints there. Overall, this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a tracker with an easy to read screen.”

One shopper was left disappointed after discovering the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is only compatible with Android phones. They said: “Bought this for my son’s 8th birthday. Spent about 15 minutes trying to work out which Galaxy app I needed before realising that the watch is incompatible with Apple iOS iPhone, iPad etc. It requires a Samsung or Android device to pair and monitor, so it’s useless to me.”

Someone else, however, is thrilled with the smart watch, as they wrote: “Bought for my husband to replace an old Fitbit. Connects easily to Samsung Galaxy phone, I love that you can change the clock face. Does way more than he needs. Looks good, well made, the strap fits well. Appears to be very accurate with tracking steps. Lightweight and comfortable on the wrist, you can sync with phone and have notifications on or off.”
