Rush Add 17 Cities to Surprise 2026 Tour: See the Dates

Earlier this month, Rush rattled the rock world by announcing a 2026 tour, then doubled its length due to increased demand. Now, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have added 17 more dates to the trek.

The new dates mean the Fifty Something Tour will stretch into the fall and early winter, with cities ranging from Detroit to Tampa, Florida. It marks their first tour since the death of their bandmate Neil Peart; German virtuoso drummer Anika Nilles will be joining Lee and Lifeson.

“We are blown away by the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we’re going back on tour,” Lee said in the video revealing the expanded tour. “I cannot tell you how surprising and overwhelmed we are. And also, the way you guys have welcomed Anika Nilles into the Rush family has been very heartwarming. I know that she’s very appreciative of that. We’re even more excited to get back onstage and play with her and go through the plethora of songs that we’re planning.”

Lee then turned to Lifeson in the video: “But….the downside for you, my, friend, is that we have to go back into the gym! We need to be strong, because we’re adding 17 more cities to our tour.”

Lee then urged fans to get their tickets from Rush’s official website, or Ticketmaster’s site. “The resellers are having a field day out there, jacking up the prices,” he said. “Just be aware of that. Go to the source. Thank you again. We just can’t wait to get onstage and make all those mistakes that we’ve been practicing.”

Artist presales will begin on Oct. 27, while general tickets go on sale beginning Oct. 31.
