Rod Stewart Cancels More U.S. Shows Due to Recovery From Flu
Singer cancels three Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe shows, postpones two more as he recovers from flu: “I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon”
Rod Stewart has canceled four more U.S. tour dates and rescheduled two others as he continues to recover from the flu.
Stewart, who previously postponed his June 1 show in Las Vegas due to the then-unspecified illness, said in a statement Saturday, “I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu. So sorry my friends. I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon.”
The canceled tour dates include three of Stewart’s Las Vegas residency shows at the Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace — June 7, June 8, and June 10 (which was the rescheduled June 1 show) — as well as his Lake Tahoe gig on June 14. His June 12 concert in Rancho Mirage, California and June 15 show in Paso Robles, California have been postponed to September 20 and 21, respectively.
The cancelations hopefully give Stewart adequate time to recover ahead of his Glastonbury performance on June 29, when he will headline that festival’s Pyramid Stage in the “Legends slot” on its closing day, the twice-inducted Rock Hall singer’s first Glastonbury performance in 23 years.
Stewart, who took home the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards last month and performed an energetic rendition of “Forever Young,” resumed his “encore” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on May 29.
The singer is also hitting the road for a One Last Time Tour, which will see the 80-year-old Stewart perform at amphitheaters across North America through June and August, after which he’ll return to Las Vegas for more residency shows.
