You can eke out extra battery life by disabling those features, or pick up a spare set of batteries to make a quick swap.

Jumping up to a premium plan for $19.99 per month ($199.99 per year) enables Ring’s AI-powered search feature, which is in beta and lets you sort through recordings if you’re looking for a clip with something specific (animals, vehicles, a specific color). Alternatively, you can pick up a bundle compromising the Ring Battery Doorbell and Ring Chime for $64.99 ($60 off) at Amazon. The non-Plus model records lower resolution video and doesn’t have removable batteries (you have to remove the entire doorbell to charge it).
