Princess Kate’s Boden loafers are now 25% off with all sizes available
Royal style lovers can now save 25% on a pair of Boden loafers worn by the Princess of Wales. Kate donned the Nya Penny Loafers during a visit to Castle Hill Academy for Children’s Mental Health Week in February – and now fans can pick up the ‘bitter chocolate’ version of the shoes for £89.25, down from £119 with the code 3PPA.
The offer runs until Bank Holiday Monday, May 25, while stocks last. The loafers feature classic penny loafer styling with added personality thanks to their scalloped trim and cut out detailing.
While it looks like Kate wore an oxblood version of the shoe, that colour is not available – but there are plenty of others to choose from, ranging from a more neutral tan to a brighter tartan (with some variations in price). Crafted from durable suede leather with a leather lining and insock, they’re designed to feel smart yet comfortable enough for everyday wear.
Easy to slip on and style, the loafers could be paired with casual and more dressed-up outfits alike, making them a versatile wardrobe staple. They’re available in UK sizes 3.5 to 8.5.
For those who want to shop around, New Look has the Black Croc Effect Faux Leather Loafers for a cheaper price of £33.99. Available in sizes 3 to 9, these loafers are given added interest with the croc-effect pattern and tassel detailing.
To add some colour, customers could have a look at the Lipsy Chocolate Brown Standard Fit Chunky God Leather Loafers for £45 from Next. These come in a variety of colours and sizes 3 to 8, with one customer calling them ‘very comfortable’.
The Nya Penny Loafers have garnered a high rating from over 200 reviews. One person said: “I love these! Great, quirky colour combination – bright and beautiful. Also very comfortable and because of the colour combo they actually go with a surprising number of other colours/outfits.”
Another happy shopper wrote: “Very comfortable and true to size. I have yet to wear these shoes without someone commenting on them. They seem to go with everything. Leopard print is definitely neutral! I prefer to wear them with trousers and they really lift an otherwise casual outfit.” A third commented: “I love these instead of a plain black or navy loafer this rainbow of colours, ginormous tasselled loafer – love love love wearing them.”
Although adding that the loafers are comfortable, another customer said: “It runs a little big. I usually wear 6 or 61/2 in US sizes. I bought a 37 and it is a little bigger than I expected. It works fine with shoe inserts.”
Another added: “Good colour and well made. I haven’t worn them very often as the fit is a bit tight but I hope they will soften.”
The Nya Penny Loafers are available from Boden.
