Princess Eugenie put on a radiant display as she touched down in Doha, Qatar. The 34-year-old royal swapped the cold and windy Britain for the charming warm climate of the Middle East.

However, fans were shocked that her look was incomplete and was not accompanied by any jewellery. She was spotted visiting the art centre M7 and touring the Ellsworth Kelly exhibition. Eugenie is not a working member of the Royal Family, despite being 11th in line to the throne.

Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice are not responsible for carrying out public duties due to their place in the lineage of the crown. The Princess works as an art director for Hauser & Wirth.

Her Royal Highness wore the Darby dress in lemon from Diane von Furstenberg for the occasion. If you want to splash out on the design then you can buy it here for an eye-watering £614.

It features a low V-neckline with a fitted waist while also boasting cinched short sleeves and a tiered skirt. However, her look sparked a backlash as royal onlookers felt the eye-popping colour needed a touch of sparkle.

Taking to social media, one user wrote on Instagram: “I feel like more accessories would help the look.”

While a second agreed adding: “Don’t understand the sneakers & dress at events. Why not pair with wedges or similar to elevate the look.”

A third chimed in: “Lovely dress but a very basic look.”

Others disagreed and claimed: “You look gorgeous I love it.”

“So pretty and elegant the dress really suits Eugenie. Very nice,” wrote another.

Princess Eugenie has built up great relations with the company as last year it was reported she attended a dinner hosted by Sheikha Al Mayassa in London. This was to celebrate the winners of Fashion Trust Arabia.

The mother-of-two also coincided her trip with a stop off at the Chaumet and Nature exhibition, which opened a few days ago.

If you have a sunny winter getaway planned and want to get Eugenie’s look, then look no further than Debenhams.

They have a stunning alternative design from Coast which you can grab at a bargain price of £43.60 if you click here

It was originally priced at £109 but has been slashed in the sale by 60%, saving you more than £65.

However, if you want to add a bit of glamour to your wardrobe then Marks and Spencer have you covered with their Sequin Round Neck Midaxi Shift Dress, available here.

Sizes start from a 6 and go up to a 22. One customer said: “Fabulous comfortable yellow sequins which don’t scratch. Good length even though I am 5’2”. Worn on a cruise formal night. Very happy with the discount price too!”

While another added: “Lovely colour. Fits true to size. Well worth the money. Looks glamorous. Can’t wait to wear it.
