Primark has £10 shoes that are ‘just like’ £150 pair

Devotees of a certain designer shoe have lauded Primark for their comparable version, which is being sold at a fraction of the cost. Customers have praised the high street fashion retailer for their latest footwear offerings, particularly its mule clogs.

Primark is offering a variety of mule clogs with buckle detailing available in several colours. Priced at merely £10, the open-back shoes are available in taupe, camel, chocolate and black. The shoes are stocked in a range of sizes from three to eight.

The branded shoes are available in nine different colours, but carry a price tag of £150. Birkenstock’s mules feature a soft footbed and are crafted from suede, natural leather and cork. They are available in sizes 2.5 through to 14.5.

One TikTok user spotted the similarities in the style of the Primark shoe as she encouraged others to “get down” to the budget store. Romy Morris stated: “If you are after the Birkenstock-style clog, get yourself down to Primark”.

As reported by the Mirror, the social media user described the shoes as “stunning” and even snapped up every colour she could find in her local shop. Romy added: “My brother has a pair of Birkenstocks and a pair of these. And, he’s like ‘these are just as comfy’.

“They are £10 so save yourself some buck.” Other TikTok users commented how they want to try the Primark clogs out for themselves.

One remarked: “Stop it! I need to get.” Another declared: “I need!” Someone else noted: “I have the dark brown ones! I love them! The walk [is] so soft.”

Primark isn’t the sole high street retailer stocking their own mule clogs. New Look’s Black Suedette Mules arrives in six different shades and are priced at £27.99 but are presently on sale for £20.99.
