A limited-edition perfume inspired by flowers in the King’s garden has been created to raise money for charity. Highgrove Daphne Bouquet Eau de Parfum will be sold by the estate’s shop and features notes of blackcurrant leaf, Daphne flower accord, moss
and vetiver.

A 100ml bottle is priced at £175, with proceeds going to The King’s Foundation. It was founded by Charles in 1990 when he was the Prince of Wales and supports projects around the world. The scent was created by Penhaligon, holder of a Royal Warrant from the King. It also received two from his parents, Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

According to the Highgrove Gardens website the perfume is “a tribute to vibrant woodland florals, particularly the daphne flower found in the Stumpery at Highgrove Gardens, which blooms on the cusp of spring.

“Daphne Bouquet is a limited-edition Eau de Parfum bursting with luminous floral facets and aromatic radiance, a fragrant folklore of blackcurrant leaf and daphne flower accord bursting with joyful radiance.” As well as being sold at the Highgrove Shop it will be stocked by select retailers, including Harrods.
