Oodie slashes 30% off ‘cloud-soft’ blanket ideal for winter

Snuggling up on the sofa under a blanket is perhaps the one thing everyone can agree on enjoying, especially when it’s cold, miserable weather outside. We think the Black Floral sherpa blanket from Oodie is ideal for lazy Sunday afternoons, chilly nights and cosy mornings with a cup of tea. And it’s currently reduced by up to 30%, with prices starting from £39. 

The brand is best known for its oversized, wearable blanket hoodies, but also does a range of throws and blankets. This one is soft and velvety on one side, with a thick sherpa lining on the other. It’s big enough to cover someone completely without that annoying tug-of-war moment when you try to get warm and realise your feet are hanging out. 

It comes in two sizes. The ‘Single’, which is down from £55 to £39, a 29% saving. The larger ‘Queen’ size is 30% off at the time of writing, reduced from £85 to £59. 

It has a black base covered with an oversized white floral print; it’s bold without being twee or overly feminine. It’s reversible, with plain black on one side, which means it can work for any space. It’s also machine washable, which is ideal if you’re anything like me and prone to spilling stuff. As well as being great for snuggling up in, we think it could come in handy for anyone wanting to avoid having the heating blasting all day. 

There are no reviews for this particular print, but users who have purchased it in a different pattern have only very positive things to say. One penned: “As soft as a cloud!!” Another person added: “It was supposed to be a blanket to share in the lounge, but my daughter has taken it to her room as her own! Of course, there are some limitations to consider. It’s thick, and because of the sherpa lining, it will most likely be heavier than decorative throws, meaning it’s more of a “curl up and stay put” blanket than something you’d use solely for decoration.
