‘Old soldier’ with ‘lifetime of stains’ confident again with £10 item
Discoloured teeth can seriously knock one’s confidence, leading many to shy away from smiling in photographs or laughing freely in public. Now, however, a new three-in-one teeth whitening powder is promising a noticeably brighter smile while also strengthening enamel — and it’s currently available for under £10.
While scores of shoppers have been drawn to Amazon’s Prime Day deals this week, oral care brand MySweetSmile is running its own sitewide sale away from the retail giant, which continues until Friday, June 26. The brand, widely recognised for its whitening products, has slashed prices across a range of items, from whitening strips to fresh breath sprays.
The standout deal, however, is undoubtedly their new Whiten and Brighten Bundle. Valued at £132.95, the bundle is currently priced at just £49.99 and brings together MySweetSmile’s bestselling Teeth Whitening Powder (ordinarily £29.99) and Teeth Whitening Strips (ordinarily £49.99), each designed to tackle different types of staining.
In addition to the two flagship products, customers will also receive a complimentary Precision Teeth Whitening Pen worth £24.99, a Fresh Mint Toothpaste worth £14.99, a Fresh Breath Spray worth £12.99 and free two-day delivery. Previously retailing at £55, the bundle is now at its lowest-ever price, making this an ideal opportunity to snap up the offer — with each product effectively costing just £10 individually.
The MySweetSmile Teeth Whitening Powder has already garnered enormous popularity amongst shoppers, reportedly boasting more verified Trustpilot reviews than any rival whitening brand in the UK. The brand, however, was determined to refine their product further, and has now unveiled an enhanced 3-in-1 formula, reports Birmingham Live.
The revamped powder has been specifically developed to tackle the dental concerns faced by those aged over 45, including thinning enamel, deep-set staining accumulated from decades of coffee, tea, and red wine consumption, as well as gum sensitivity.
Newly introduced ingredients to combat these issues include Hydroxyapatite, which rebuilds and remineralises enamel, Papain and Bromelain — natural enzymes derived from papaya and pineapple — which break down deep-set stain proteins, and Vitamin E, which works to protect gums and soft tissue between uses.
One 60-year-old user said of the bundle: “I purchased this system after checking out the reviews. I’m a 60 year old smoker and I like my tea. I had been using white strips from the store but wanted to try something more inclusive. This product does what it says. Gradual whitening with little sensitivity. I like how my teeth appear! And the price is right. The powder pot is huge and will last up to 6 months. I will stick with My Sweet Smile to whitening my teeth.”
“Never disappointed with MySweetSmile,” another mature shopper commented. “Love the product. I’m 77 years old and lucky enough to still have most of my own teeth. The powder cleans well, also very gentle. Love it when the offers are on. I stock up, not only for myself, for my friend also.”
A third added: “It was quick and easy to order the whitening strips, I am 66 years old and my teeth were quite badly stained. I was not convinced that anything could help but it was affordable enough for me to try. The results were beyond my expectations by a long way, my teeth are noticeably lighter and a lot of the staining has been removed. I am very happy with the value for money and the results.”
Not every customer was entirely won over, however, with one remarking: “Tried product saw a little change but wasn’t as white as i expected it to be dont know if i done wrong so will give it another go see if i can get results that i want.”
One gentleman, however, was pleasantly surprised, stating: “I am an old cynic and I don’t believe the blurb that companies give to their products how can toothpaste make your teeth whiter when you have to flush out your mouth after brushing etc. But after using your product my old teeth definitely started to brighten up now I’m not ashamed when I go on stage I had stains from a lifetime of coffee cigarettes beer all gone now I even smile at people when I am out, many thanks this old soldier is now much more confident.”
Users should brush for two minutes with the whitening powder in the morning and apply the whitening strips for 30 minutes in the evening over a seven-day cycle, before moving to weekly maintenance. Unlike some whitening products that can leave teeth and gums feeling sensitive, the peroxide-free formula is appropriate for those susceptible to discomfort.
Elsewhere this week, the Spotlight Oral Care Teeth Whitening 28 Strips and Toothpaste duo has been discounted on Amazon. Originally £26.99, it’s now available for £17.09, and employs Hydrogen Peroxide with PAP and Hydroxyapatite to achieve a brighter smile.
At Boots, the Polished London Teeth Whitening bundle includes Whitening Strips and a Hyaluronic Teeth Whitening Powder Bundle for £41.99, offering a £10 saving on its standard price. It is described as ‘safe, effective and easy to use, with zero sensitivity and UK Dentist Approved.
Returning to MySweetSmile, their system has undergone clinical testing in Germany by Dermatest and received its five-star seal of approval. The brand claims 95% of clinical trial participants reported zero sensitivity, while a 2024 study found 65% of users saw visible results within 14 days, with some noticing changes in the first week.
For those reluctant to spend on the complete bundle, MySweetSmile is also slashing prices by 40% across its entire website, bringing its Teeth Whitening Powder down from £29.99 to £17.99. While the bundle includes the Fresh Mint variant of the powder, buying it separately gives customers the chance to select between the original flavour or Strawberry.
The Buy Two Get One Free deal remains available and can be used alongside the prime week discounts. Customers can explore the MySweetSmile sale here.
