Next James Bond producer unveils when new 007 star will be announced | Films | Entertainment

Back in May, Amazon MGM Studios announced, “The search for the next James Bond is under way. While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”

Speaking with Deadline, Pascal was asked when the new Bond actor would be announced. The Hollywood producer, who oversaw production and distribution of the first three Daniel Craig movies, replied: “I would say the end of the year is a good bet. We are being really, really methodical. Having worked with Barbara Broccoli at the studio, I mean, Daniel Craig is a hard act to follow. And it’s got to be something really different that is a stirring and exciting and different.”
