Earlier this year, Amazon MGM Studios announced David Heyman and Amy Pascal as the new producers of the James Bond film franchise.

The seasoned Hollywood suits are currently based in London, planning the upcoming reboot.

It’s the first time in the series’ 63-year history that the official 007 films have not been overseen by the Broccoli family, who sold creative control to the streaming giant in a near $1 billion deal.

But just who will they cast as the new Bond? According to the bookies, one star is once again the odds-on favourite.

Taylor-Johnson stars in British zombie thriller 28 Years Later (later) this month, so if he’s been cast as the new Bond we’d expect there wouldn’t be an announcement until after the press tour so as not to distract from the film.

Behind him in the odds are: “5-2 Theo James, 5-1 Henry Cavill, 8-1 Jack Lowden, 10-1 James Norton, 12-1 Tom Hardy, 14-1 Callum Turner, 25-1 Idris Elba, 25-1 Lucien Laviscount.”
