New treatment for advanced melanoma uses tumor to fight the disease
A treatment for advanced melanoma that’s newly approved by the FDA is giving cancer patients new hope. Tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte, or “TIL” therapy, uses an individual’s own tumor to help fight the disease. CBS News’ Natalie Brand reports.
