Netflix’s eagerly awaited Quentin Tarantino sequel featuring Brad Pitt is officially heading to cinemas later this year.
The Adventures of Cliff Booth is a follow-up to Tarantino’s 2019 period crime-comedy Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which also featured Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie.
Penned by Tarantino and helmed by David Fincher (The Social Network), the continuation is set in the late 1970s and chronicles stuntman Cliff in his new capacity as a Hollywood fixer while he navigates perilous adventures across Los Angeles.
It was initially anticipated to premiere exclusively on Netflix, but the streaming giant has now revealed the film will first launch in IMAX cinemas on 25th November, reports the Mirror.
The film will stay in theatres for a fortnight before arriving on streaming on 23rd December.

Cliff Booth’s revised release date will be occupying the slot of Barbie director Greta Gerwig’s keenly anticipated Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, which will now debut in February 2027, likewise in cinemas before arriving on Netflix.
Alongside leading man Pitt, who secured his first Academy Award in an acting category for his turn in the original film, is a stellar cast that also features Timothy Olyphant reprising his role as real-life TV star James Lancer.
Fresh faces joining the ensemble include Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Peter Weller.
The announcement has taken many filmgoers by surprise, with one X user commenting: “Getting the original Gerwig Narnia release window (and the IMAX release too???) is a good sign Netflix has a lot of faith in this one tbh.”

A further user labelled the forthcoming ‘Hollywood’ sequel as “unmissable”, while another remarked: “I like this era of Netflix slowly leaning into the theatrical model.”
One enthusiastic fan speculated: “Ok The Adventures of Cliff Booth is 100% feeling like Netflix’s big Oscar’s push this year…
“Hopefully the Fincher x Tarantino collab works and this film is actually good.”
Cliff Booth’s big-screen outing continues a growing pattern of theatrical releases for Netflix, which has previously included the two Knives Out sequels, Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man.
The streaming giant is going a step further for its forthcoming Narnia reboot, which is set to receive a 49-day theatrical window ahead of its streaming debut in April.
The Adventures of Cliff Booth will be in cinemas on 25th November and releases 23rd December on Netflix.
